This project located in Pinellas County and owned by District 7 of the Florida Department of Transportation consists of the improvements of SR-964 otherwise known as Gandy Blvd from west of Martin Luther King Jr. St to east of SR-867. Enhancements include providing a more intuitive and direct circulation of 94th Avenue traffic by providing a bridge on Gandy Blvd over this avenue. Improved lane balance is gained for the eastbound mainline Gandy Blvd by providing two separate off-ramps from Gandy Blvd to both 94th Avenue and 9th St. The project requires significant utility coordination and relocations for which our team has provided partnered solutions that have benefited the project and the client.
The project was awarded to the joint venture, Condotte de Moya, JV. Our team has provided a system that has improved safety and provided better operational conditions resulting in a superior life cycle profile.
