I-75 Ramp @ Palmetto & NW 103 St (Hialeah, FL)

This contract consisted of adding auxiliary lanes along SR-93 / I-75 Eastbound from the I-75 Ramp and SR-826 Southbound between the exit ramp on SR-93 / I-75 and NW 103rd Street. Other work included the repaving of the exit ramps, drainage system improvements, installation of new signage, lighting, watermain relocation and landscaping. Among the challenges on this project was the need to work thru different maintenance of traffic phases to minimize disruptions to the Public. Condotte America incorporated an innovative alternate design for the retaining wall - the new award-winning design was the first tilt-up precast retaining wall using an elastic pumped fill.
