I-4 Widening from SR 44 to I-95 (Volusia County, FL)

The Condotte / deMoya Joint Venture was contracted to widen 14 miles of I-4 from a 4 lane interstate to six lanes. New concrete pavement will replace the existing asphalt lanes. All existing bridges between the limits of the project will be replaced including a new flyover for the realigned I-4 eastbound off ramp to eastbound US 92. The project also includes new drainage, guardrail, ITS, signing and pavement marking improvements. A favorable technical score resulting from our innovative design concepts placed us as low bidder although our price was not the lowest presented at bid time.
