SR-826 NW 154th St Interchange (Miami Lakes, FL)

The improvements under this contract consist of traffic operations improvements to the N.W. 154th Street Interchange of SR-826 Palmetto Expressway in Miami Lakes, FL. This is one of the two access points to and from Miami Lakes in northern Miami-Dade County. Work zone space was one of the biggest challenges with drive-by traffic relatively close to the Work. Strict adherence to maintenance of traffic regulations and great planning allowed for an incident-free and smooth execution of the work involved. The project was recognized in 2007 with the FTBA “Community Awareness” award.
